The last couple of weeks at work have been crazy busy, by the time the weekend rolls around I want nothing more than to lounge around and relax. Lucky for me, there is a great little coffee shop down the street from my apartment that is perfect for doing just that. I love being able to sip my latte and get lost in a great book, or just sit on the sidewalk and watch the world go by. What do you do to relax on the weekends?

I love this look because it's the perfect combination of sweet and flirty. The soft pastel pallet reads sweet and innocent, but the hemline and shape of the skater skirt adds a distinct sexiness that makes it perfect for date night!

Since the Valentino Rockstud collection first debuted, I have been absolutely green with envy of everyone wearing them (and they seemed to be EVERYWHERE). But after months of saving, I finally managed to put enough in my piggy bank to buy my very own pair! I have to say, they were worth every penny! What's currently on your wish list?

As I've been doing my shopping this season, I have noticed that the fashion industry as a whole seems to be moving towards neutral tones. As someone who is almost always drawn towards the brightest, most vibrant colors in the bunch, this has been somewhat of an adjustment for me. One great way I've discovered to keep your looks fun and interesting is to add in some metallics! These shoes from J.Crew (last seen here) have been on my feet almost every day since they arrived at my front door. They are the perfect mix of quirky and understated (and are also a great alternative for those who just can't seem to get into the re-emerging Birkenstock trend!)
