My office environment is casual every day (perks of working for a small company!!) but it's nice to be able to throw on jean and a top, dress it up with a few accessories, and head out the door on a Friday morning.

I'm loving Mary Jane heels--again! I picked these up years ago in college and haven't worn them since about 2008 (mostly because they have been hiding in the back of my closet). Luckily I uncovered them while I was doing some spring cleaning and have been putting them to good use ever since!

The Girl in the Yellow Dress

This past Saturday was my cousin's wedding, it was a wonderful celebration of love, family and friends (the backdrop in these pictures was the backdrop for the ceremony). She was absolutely beautiful and and since she was the first of us grandkids to get married, it made it even more special! But, I didn't know any of their friends, and they didn't know me. Trying to remember names proved to be a difficult task for all parties involved, so I was quickly dubbed "the girl in the yellow dress". As far as nick-names go, I suppose it could've been a lot worse :)

To explain the title-one of my best friends/traveling buddy/rockstar photographer (CB) dubbed this shirt my "Pixy Stix" top...and the name kind of stuck. :)

There are so many exciting things I want to share about this outfit...namely my Karen Walker sunglasses that FINALLY came in! And the fact that an incredibly sweet woman stopped me in the middle of shooting this outfit to tell me that not only did she love my outfit, but she thought I looked like Blair Eadie (which I took as an amazing compliment because I adore her blog!) and wanted to take a picture with me. I was so honored! I never did catch her name, but I want to thank her because she absolutely made my day!
