I love the contrast of this super feminine, romantic dress combined with the masculinity in the hard lines and texture of the leather. It gives the look dimension and makes it more interesting and appealing to the eye. Enjoy!

My pup Atticus "Atti" got to join me on the shoot today! (mostly because his leash matched my outfit:) but partly because he makes me feel so guilty for leaving him at home) Needless to say, he thoroughly enjoyed the walk!

As soon as I spotted this wall I knew I wanted to do a shoot in front of it...I love the colors and the diagonal striped portion reminded me of something you would find in a retro skating rink. And it ended up serving as the perfect backdrop for this fun/funky outfit!

I'll be the first to openly admit that I'm not the biggest fan of Rihanna. But when I put on this outfit and my friend (and photographer) KR instantly spotted the connection, I decided to embrace it! Now if only I could sing....

This has to be my favorite new dress of the season. It's really lightweight and super soft which makes it perfect for the ridiculously hot weather we are already experiencing down here! This bag is also a new favorite...it was my Mom's in the late '80's! Who knew she had such great taste? :)

Houndstooth & high heels...two of my favorite things! When you think of The University of Alabama, fashion is not typically the first thing that comes to mind (it's usually more along the lines of screaming football fans, houndstooth everything, and Bear Bryant). But to me they go hand-in-hand...I graduated from Alabama's Fashion Merchandising program in 2010 and am now on a mission to conquer the fashion industry.
