I bought this skirt a couple of years ago when Jolie & Elizabeth launched their debut collection. If you've never heard of them, Sarah Elizabeth and Jolie are New Orleans natives who design beautiful, sweet, and sophisticated dresses (most of which are seersucker :) ) that are perfectly appropriate for any occasion! You can read their complete bio here, but it's safe to say these ladies know their way around the fashion industry.

I love that not only are they creating perfect, flirty summer dresses, but they are also working to support the local economy by manufacturing their entire collection in Louisiana. It is really important to support local artists and designers (yes, everyone in the South is considered local) so get out and shop your local designers this weekend!
